In the Community
For 75 years, Reliance Bank has been synonymous with Community Service. From the early days of Ardie Dillen, Bruce Hostler, and Tim Sissler to the current guidance of Denny Doll, the employees have been instilled with the thought that we are indeed employees of Reliance Bank, and that comes with being community servant leaders.
The employees of Reliance Bank have embraced the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. This project consumes over 125 hours of volunteer time each year. Our employees work tirelessly to raise funds for Relay. They do this because they know their part, no matter how big or how small, is supporting such an outstanding event. For 20 years, our support has grown and so has the enthusiasm from the employees and their families. We have raised over $350,000 for Relay for Life in that timeframe, which includes a match of funds by Reliance Bank’s Foundation.
Aside from Relay for Life, Reliance Bank employees have connections with most non-profit organizations in our trade area including the local Chambers of Commerce, Lions Clubs, Operation Our Town, and much more. We provide funding, leadership, and hands-on help to groups throughout our market area on a regular basis.

12th Annual Isaac Awards
May 27, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - May 28, 2017 @ 9:30 pm
Reliance Bank is proud to once again sponsor the Isaac Awards!
The mission of the Isaac Awards is to encourage and support excellence in high school musical theatre in our region through an annual awards event that recognizes student achievement.
In order to accommodate the sheer number of high schools wanting to participate, this year the Isaac Awards are occurring over two evenings. That means twice as many students will be recognized and twice as many scholarships will be given away!
The Isaac Awards will take place Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28 at 7:30 PM in Altoona’s historic Mishler Theatre. The schools are broken up as follows:
Saturday: Altoona Area, Bald Eagle Area, Bellwood-Antis, Bishop Carroll, Bishop Guilfoyle, Bishop McCourt, Central Cambria, Great Commission, Grier School, Hollidaysburg, Tyrone Area
Sunday: Bedford, Bellefonte Area, Chestnut Ridge, Everett, Moshannon Valley, Northern Bedford, Phillipsburg-Osceola, State College Area, West Branch.
