Reliance Bank is currently seeking a Full-Time Float Teller I to join our strong, friendly, community-focused team.
This position will support both our State College and Tyrone branch locations, based on business needs. A willingness to travel between these two branch locations is required for this position.
Position Purpose: The Full-Time Teller position is responsible for assisting Reliance Bank in living out its mission, by delivering outstanding service to both internal and external customers. Our Tellers serve as the ambassadors of our bank and our culture and assist with a wide variety of banking needs, from basic transactions to trouble-shooting complex issues to helping our customers navigate our mobile and online banking.
Ideal candidates should possess the following:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Passion for customer service
- Outgoing personality and a high level in comfort interacting with others
- High degree of professionalism
- Solution-driven, Problem-solving mentality
- Strong attention to detail
- Drive and desire to learn and grow professionally
- Prior banking experience a plus
- Valid US Driver’s License
Required Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills; proficient analytical and mathematics skills; excellent communicative and interpersonal relations skills; ability to pay attention to detail; ability to remember customer’s names; proficient manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; ability to communicate clearly in person, verbally, and in writing; experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment; ability to operate various office machines; moderate PC skills; ability to stand, stoop, bend, sit, reach, walk up and down steps, and lift and/or carry items approximately fifty (50) lbs. of coin or various other items of a lesser weight; visual and auditory skills.
