Kris started in the banking industry right out of high school. While banking might not have been her dream career, she found herself loving what she was doing — helping people work towards their financial goals and achieving what they didn’t think could be possible. After 15 years in banking, she has held several positions including Teller, Teller Supervisor, Universal Banker, Regional Auditing Assistant and BSA Assistant in the Security and Fraud Department.

Providing excellent customer service is Kris’s number one priority. With a passion for helping people and striving to make a difference in whatever opportunity comes along. No matter the issue, Kris makes a point to find a solution, big or small, that will benefit the customer. If the situation is something that she has never come across before, she will find the customer a solution, creating a learning experience for the both. Sometimes customers just need to have someone who will listen, whether it be about banking or their child’s football game. Building a rapport with them is the best way to provide excellent customer service. Kris strives to be that person who customers can trust. Let’s face it, happy customers, mean happy coworkers.

Kris came to Reliance Bank because she loved the hometown bank atmosphere; feeling we are all a part of a huge family. Not only coworkers, but customers as well. Kris loves coming to work every day knowing that she will see customers and also being given the opportunity to help someone. So many big corporations get blinded my numbers and forget about what got them where they are — customers! Kris leaves work each day, good or bad, knowing that she made a difference (small or large) in someone’s life.
