Get to Know More About Nancy McClelland

Nancy and her husband are Blair County residents. She is a graduate of Leadership Blair County and continues to be an active member of the Blair County Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys traveling, Broadway plays, and treasures being part of this community. She loves being able to help people make their dreams come true and looks forward to assisting you with your financial needs.

Nancy likes to “adopt” customers from other banks, since they are unable to assist the customer with their particular situation. They are usually feeling desperate and need a short turnaround time. Customers come to Reliance Bank because, unlike the larger banks, we can “think outside of the box.” She has had many unique situations satisfying customer needs over the years, but by communicating with different departments at Reliance Bank and working together, many times “Together, we’ll find a way.” –And we have.

Nancy considers herself to be a people person! She loves helping people achieve their dreams and financial goals, such as becoming a homeowner, helping customers keep their home after enduring a hardship, helping customers assist their children who want to attend college, and helping them relieve some of their financial burdens.

The big changes Nancy sees in the banking industry relate to technology. In this electronic age, everyone wants things ‘instantly.’ Due to regulations and physical time, this can often be challenging when everyone (customers and realtors alike) want things “right now.” Nancy does her best to accommodate customer schedules, and encourages customers to take advantage of the website to get important processes started even when she may be unavailable. In this increasing age of technology, this is excellent advice!
