Reliance Bank and Blair/Bedford Builders Association Support Habitat for Humanity

Reliance Bank proudly announces its support along with the Blair/Bedford Builders Association to build a Habitat for Humanity home in Altoona.

“Community is woven through the DNA of Reliance Bank,” commented Dennis E. Doll, President and CEO of Reliance Bank. “We had the ground available and the Builders Association has always been an organization in which we play a key role.” Doll and the dedicated team at Reliance Bank have the trust and respect of the builders and Habitat.

Reliance Bank will work with the builders and other community members to help build this new home. The lot, located at 1814-20 Third Avenue, Altoona, will become home to a well deserving family by year end 2017.

Allen McManus, Executive Director of the local Habitat office, said, “Habitat is very thankful for Reliance Bank’s support, both with the vacant lot as well as their manual labor.” McManus will organize the efforts of the build. Dave DeBiase, Executive Officer of the Blair/Bedford Builders Association, stated, “With Reliance Bank’s support, and that of the many builder members in our community, we are confident that this new home will be solid and a source of many family memories for years to come!”
