[Altoona, PA – March 13, 2024] – Construction is now underway on Reliance Bank’s future corporate headquarters at The Mill, a redeveloped mixed-use center at 2424 Eighth Avenue in Altoona.
The bank has selected Leonard S. Fiore, Inc. to serve as the general contractor for the project, which is expected to take approximately six months.
The Mill offers 100,000 square feet of office, restaurant, retail, and residential space. Reliance Bank will utilize approximately 20,000 square feet of that space for its corporate headquarters.
Reliance Bank worked with P.W. Campbell, an architectural and design firm out of Pittsburgh, to develop the office’s design. It features a modern aesthetic while preserving the original brick walls and wood beams that make the property so unique.
The bank announced plans to relocate its headquarters in February of 2023, citing the need for a more collaborative workspace. Reliance Bank has been operating out of its current headquarters at 1119 12th Street in Downtown Altoona since 1953.
The bank is currently developing a plan for the future of the 12th Street property.
